Considering its "roots in Oahu's history" and a "golden" location on the estate of Hawaii's last princess, steps from the "world-famous Waikiki beach" and "in the center of the action", it's too bad this hotel is "kind of dumpy" and the "outdated" rooms seem "stuck in the '80s"; still, the "top floors offer a view of the ocean", the staff is "friendly" and guests can eat in a "lovely" dining area or "wind down with a mai tai" watching "nightly entertainment."

It was okay for the most part.
Rooms had old furniture in it.
Fair at best, I expected a little more. Other hotels in the area with a similar rate had much better accommodations.

The room was old and very dated, noisy.
Great price for the location, but the room was rather dated. Peeling wall paper, 70's look and noisy. Friendly staff.

love this hotel but it should have complimentary internet. Also parking is 25 bucks a day and that is expensive.

Awesome location right across from the Hyatt, but at a much better price.
Overall, a great experience. They upgraded us to a high floor with ocean view because we checked in late and that's all that was left. The pillows were so comfortable as was the bed.
